EPISODE 0: ZERO FILTERS
What's this newsletter about? Why am I starting a newsletter? Why should you read this newsletter?
They say that we have approximately 6,000 thoughts a day. From the moment we wake up, our mind slowly starts overflowing with thoughts. Our river of thoughts flows in the reverse direction- it meanders first and then flows rapidly- similar to how it flows from its point of origin in its young stage.
How many thoughts we have holds relatively less value than what we decide to do with them- do we choose to feel overwhelmed and remain stuck? Or do we choose to write them down to make sense of them and do something with them? Well, that’s a decision we have to take.
I too was caught up in a vicious loop of negative thoughts and negative self-talk. I was so consumed by them, that I stopped doing everything that I loved doing- especially writing. I have always found solace in writing- letters, articles, poems.
This newsletter is my space to write what I’d like to read- mostly about businesses, products and brands that I love; something positive - could be anything; and occasionally about fashion, cultures and about the million questions that I have in my mind. Honestly, I’d love to take inspiration from THE DAILY PROPHET (name of the newspaper in Harry Potter) because I was always fascinated by it.
I will try to organize the topics as much as possible- so you can expect constant iterations along the way. This journey would be interesting- because I am starting a newsletter without a plan and building in real-time is fun and scary at the same time.
And, come what may, I will try my best to post at least once a week.
So, go on- Subscribe.. You will get to witness the iterations, pivots, blunders (I hope not) and, last but not the least, the favorite word of the century- ‘growth’.
Also, I would love to hear from you as well- feedback, suggestions, if there’s anything that you’d want me to write about or if you’d want to collaborate with me.
Also, share it with whoever might find this interesting- that would really help!
It’ll be a fun and easy-going journey, I promise!
Have a great week!
