The end of "Jo tera hai wo mera hai"
Goodbye Password sharing, Money grows on plants, Finance simplified, Lamy and so much more....
Netflix does not care about sharing
Netflix introduced their method to make sure that passwords are not being shared, and, it’s more annoying than accidentally chewing the elaichi(cardamom) while relishing a plate of Biryani after a long day, yes, it’s that annoying.
So basically our device must log in to Netflix from our home Wifi network, once in every 31 days, or our account will be blocked. And accounts can only be used within one household, outsiders are not allowed!
What if you want to prevent your account from being blocked? Well, contact Netflix. Ugh, the hassle!
But, in a country like India , where we strongly believe in “Jo tera hai wo mera hai“ , this might be counter-productive for Netflix. What do you think?
As far as I am concerned, I am happy that my time won’t be wasted in binge-watching and I will get over Netflix pretty soon, just like I got over 9XM.
Money grows on (indoor) plants
This boring business idea takes my breath away
Plants, especially indoor plants, are a huge thing now. People want to keep indoor plants because it helps with stress and boosts productivity, thanks to COVID.
So, how do you start? (This was answered by a neighbor of mine who sells plants.)
If you love gardening, start a nursery in your backyard or garden; in my case, I bought a few plants from the local nursery(ies).
Then, I decorated my workspace with the plant(s) and sent the picture to my contacts to see if they are interested in buying it. I also created a WhatsApp group that included my family members, friends and acquaintances. Being an extrovert, I went door-to-door selling plants and/or adding people to the WhatsApp group. One can even sell it online, I am not doing that yet.
This is very easy to start and because people want plants, it’s easy to sell. A good side hustle, indeed!
Pro tip- Do not waste time trying to convince people to buy plants- chances are they might not like plants and hence are not interested at all!
StressMeter for this business: LOW- You will need 2 cups of chaai on an average to get the ball rolling.
If you’ve read till here, then you are enjoying it . You should definitely consider subscribing to Chaai Biscuit.

Helping me scribble since 2010
Lamy Inc. is one of my favorite pen brands of all time! Here’s why-
Long lasting: I have been using the same pen since 2010, and it works perfectly fine!
Ergonomic design: The material and circumference of the grip of the pen is ergonomically appropriate, hence I do not have to put alot of pressure while writing, and, I can write faster (since I think too much too fast- I need speed). It’s so much better than writing with ball point pens or gel pens, I tell you!
The minimalistic look is just perfect!
For a more academic and technical version of Lamy pens, refer to THIS- crisp but informative.
Lamy has so many pens! HERE’s the link to the pen that I am referring to, just to avoid any confusion.
Speaking of scribbling, here’s something new that I discovered (completely unrelated to this)
Pssttt! If you can share this newsletter with your friends and family, I’d be grateful!

Rs. 30 will be allocated to your wants (retail therapy, anyone?)
Rs. 20 should go right into your pocket as savings or investments
