Happy Saturday everybody!
It’s been an exciting week for me (the second half of the week was a little lousy, though ). But I hope you had an exciting week.
2 weeks ago, I launched Skimm it in a Minute, where you can read short and informative write-ups and so many of you loved it! A lot of you also came up with creative alternative names for this series.
Don’t miss SKIMM it in Minute updates. Hit the “Follow“ button!
Here’s presenting two of the most liked write-ups.
Hold your Horses, please!
The most common advice that entrepreneurs get is to "hold their horses"- and it's hard to do this (literally and figuratively).
So, Prashant Agarwal understood the assignment. He created a show called "Horses Stable" (no, it's not a Shark Tank parody) because why should sharks have all the fun?
He onboarded Suniel Shetty and collaborated with prestigious institutions like Atal Innovation Mission Official, NITI Aayog and TiE- to name a few. Horses Stable is also sponsored by Bada Business Pvt. Ltd.by Dr. Vivek Bindra.
Horses Stable is a reality series that's Made In India. It is designed for Indian entrepreneurs that support 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.
This show is not just for adults, it features kids as well.
It has 6-8 zealous horses(investors) in its panel that are willing to contribute funds and mentorship to Indian entrepreneurs.
To date, they've aired 3 seasons in MX player and have reached more than 600,000 people in the country.
Sure, Shark Tank India is glamorous, but it can only accommodate a limited number of entrepreneurs.
But Horses Stable covers the ground reality of the country; it gives Indian businesses the wings they deserve.
So if you're looking for inspiration as an entrepreneur, this show should be on your Binge-Watch List.
Hello, Conversational Content!
Because people don’t want to be eavesdropped
We all love Peyush Bansal who encourages and supports the "Indian Dream".
Last week, I came across the Hustlr Conversation between Peyush and Aditya Ghosh, and I loved it.
But what's interesting is that while I was randomly scrolling through Instagram, I came across this post about Masaba Gupta's podcast How I Masaba.
Kunal Shah also started CRED Curious on YouTube a few months ago where he's talking to eminent personalities about literally everything.
Notice any pattern?
Entrepreneurs are now shifting to what I would like to call conversational content.
Having a personal brand is important and there's no doubt about it, but discussing ideas about life and the world, in general, is what people are shifting to.
And why's this happening?
Entrepreneurs, especially the ones who are well-known and have a fan base are the aspirational figures of young India.
I am no expert, but maybe it's safe to assume that people listen to these conversations so they can learn how these people think- in what direction do they think, why they think what they think and what's the story behind those thoughts- they want to know all of it.
But why listen to conversations?
In addition to learning new things, people want to learn how to hold meaningful conversations and most importantly, how to raise a few eyebrows here and there(in a good sense, of course).
It's simple- people want to be interesting.
Let me know if you found these interesting.
Also, please help me out with this-
I’ll go get some sleep because I am majorly sleep-deprived.
See you next week!
Toodeloo!
